Membership
In the Garden Club of Darien
The Garden Club of Darien brings together individuals who share a passion for gardening, floral design, horticulture, photography, and conservation. Members enjoy educational programs, engaging speakers, and hands-on workshops, while also contributing to civic beautification and environmental stewardship projects that benefit our community.
Membership is by invitation and sponsorship from current members. New members begin with a two-year Provisional period designed to introduce them to the Club’s committees, activities, and traditions.
Eligibility
To be considered for membership, an individual must:
Reside in Darien or a neighboring town without a Garden Club of America-affiliated club (ownership or rental) for at least three years.
Demonstrate an active interest in gardening, floral design, horticulture, conservation, or photography.
Be willing and able to support the goals of the Club and participate regularly in its activities and programs.
Guests are warmly welcomed at most of our monthly Membership meetings. If you would like to attend a meeting or learn more about membership, please contact our Membership Chair at gcdmembership06820@gmail.com.
